Welcome to The England Expereince

Hello and Welcome
I am a sophomore whose home institution is Indiana State University.
I am studying abroad in the United Kingdom, for a whole semester at Edge Hill University located about 20 min train ride north of Liverpool.
I will try to update this blog at least once a week, but may only be able to once a month.
I will add information about my travel experiences I have encountered, be them about activities, food, people or places.

Prelude to England

Well hello there!

Just a 411 to those who do not know.
I will be taking a 5:52AM flight to D.C then a 10:15PM flight to London. From there me and my companion will be taking the tube, and then a taxis to Euston train station. We will be taking a train to Liverpool and will be staying at this hostel that someone from Texas, who is studying at the same university as us, is already at.

I am packing my carry on and backpack. It is hard to pack my life into just one suitcase, a carryon, and a backpack. I have many things that I feel like I need to take with me, but I can't find any logical reason as to why.

I am just a jumble of emotions. I don't know what I really think.
I am so nervous. Scared even, but I need to do this. For myself. I am also excited, and hopeful. So it really comes down to what is really the stronger emotion. Excitement, anticipation, hunger, and need. I am not going to regret this change, I am going to cherish it. I am just a little over stressed.

But you know, after all this whining and crying, I am truly happy I am doing this and am really looking forward to this new experience.

So all in all its jus the average start to someones first international experience, or at least that is what I think.
